In the end Jay only ended up saving $50 or $60 bucks replacing the batteries himself compared to the official batteries, but this is one hell of a story for a grandkids, right? At this modern day, laptop/notebook batteries are already very afforable. So I do not think that is a need to create this weird way to refill laptop/notebook batteries. But well, this invention is cool anyway
